Students will finish their study of symmetry (line symmetry, rotational symmetry) and take an exam on the concepts.
Students will complete the final draft of their story poem.
Students will continue to read with their book groups and complete their novels. There will also be a short assignment following their reading.
The class will continue to read How to Disappear Completely and Never Be Found and complete reading response journals.
This week is also the due date for the book project students have been working on for the past two months. Students will present their projects on Friday at our annual academy Book Symposium.
On Tuesday, students will take the NWEA reading assessment. This is a computer assessment that indicated progress in reading and language skills.
All library books are due. If you have any books at home, bring them in as soon as possible.
